Princeton Health Department Sets 2017 Flu Clinic Dates

Princeton, NJ– The Princeton Health Department is continuing to promote protection from the flu this fall and winter by ensuring everyone in Princeton receives a flu shot.  On Tuesday, October 10 the Princeton Health Department and Princeton Senior Resource Center will be holding their annual flu immunization clinic and health fair. The clinic will be held at the Suzanne Paterson Building (45 Stockton Street) from 1 - 6 p.m. The health department is urging all participants to make an appointment for the PSRC clinic by calling 924-7108.  Completed consent forms can be found on the Princeton Health Department website, and brought to the clinic. Complete the highlighted portion of the consent form if you are obtaining a flu shot ONLY. Complete the entire form if you are also receiving the Tdap vaccine.


Additional flu clinics will be held on the following dates:

·      Wednesday, October 25th (4 - 6 p.m.) Community Room (400 Witherspoon Street)

·      Wednesday, November 1st (4 – 6 p.m.)  Community Room (400 Witherspoon Street)

·      Thursday,, December 7th (12-1 p.m.)  East Conference Room (One Monument Drive)

**Appointments are not necessary for additional clinics**


There will be NO out of pocket costs for Flu/TDap vaccine administered to Princeton residents with health insurance coverage stipulated on the website. The health department will provide free flu shots to anyone underinsured or uninsured.


Information regarding the Tdap Vaccine:

·        TDap Vaccine Combination vaccine that protects against three potentially life-threatening bacterial diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough), recommended every 10 Years.
