Mindful eating enables one to attend to body signals in order to decide what, when and how much to eat and drink. Usually one makes these decisions based on the sight, smell and taste of food, or based on their moods, emotions, impulses, thoughts and beliefs (false huger cues).

Mindful eating is not a diet.

Mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce ones’ perception of stress, physical pain, anxiety and depressive thoughts, ruminating thoughts, as well as promote greater problem-solving ability, self-compassion, creativity, self-confidence, learning and well-being.

Three Sessions – April 23rd, April 30th and May 7th – at 4pm
