PSS is a not-for-profit, entirely volunteer, organization created to provide adults and children with special needs with the opportunity to play sports and engage in social activities in a supported environment. PSS participants come to us with a range of special needs and challenges. Some have physical disabilities, such as difficulty walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, or managing their physical movements. Others have cognitive or attention-related issues. Many of our players have been diagnosed with Down syndrome or fall within the spectrum of Autism/PDD disorders.
